Facilities in Soyo & in Luanda (Angola)

A quality servicing of safety related equipment

STAPEM Offshore manages certified workshops in Luanda (Sonils Base) and Soyo (Kwanda Base), Angola, where safety equipment is serviced and stored.

These facilities are approved for the inspection and maintenance of safety-related gear like life rafts, firefighting systems, and breathing equipment. This approval comes from international bodies such as DNV, BV, and ABS.

In addition, manufacturers have authorized these facilities to conduct:

  • Maintenance of firefighting systems: DESAUTEL and ANSUL
  • Certification of life rafts: VIKING, DSB, RFD, and ZODIAC
  • Certification of lifejackets: VIKING
  • Certification of fast rescue craft: SURVITEC ZODIAC
  • Gas detection: DRAEGER and MSA
  • Maintenance of breathing apparatus devices: DRAEGER, MSA, and SCOTT

STAPEM Offshore’s facilities at Sonils Base also offer hydrostatic testing of cylinders and gas refilling units. These facilities keep a steady supply of approved spare parts, which are imported into Angola by STAPEM Offshore.

Highly trained engineers and technicians are available at these facilities 7 days a week, throughout the year, ensuring ongoing maintenance and safety compliance.
